Rodrigo Herrera, a Mexican classical guitarist, began his musical journey at the Universidad Veracruzana before further studies in Italy under Maestro Paolo Pegoraro. He received acclaim for his performances in various countries, both as a soloist and with the Nahual Trio. Herrera has won numerous awards, including the Medal of the President of the Italian Senate. As a professor, he taught at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and the National University of Music, founding the Orquesta de Guitarras PUCP. Herrera, a sought-after guest in musical circles, conducts seminars, masterclasses, and produces discographic and video materials. His students have excelled in international competitions.
