Renowned musician Javier Echecopar delivered a captivating concert at the Church of San Ignacio de Loyola in Rome, accompanied by members of the Sistine Chapel Choir and the Italian String Quartet. The repertoire showcased the sacred music of Peru and the country's rich musical heritage. The Kashua, was performed at the concert's end as a gift to the Pope.
Subsequently, the book, "La Música del Perú, tras los códigos de nuestras identidades culturales" (The Music of Peru, through the codes of our cultural identities), was presented. This book, which sold out its first edition, has become an essential work for understanding and appreciating the musical richness of Peru.
Maestro Javier Echecopar is preparing the book's second edition, which the Lluvia Editores publishing house will publish. The new edition will include a valuable musical bonus. Additionally, Echecopar is developing a collection for children and young people that draws from his work, to enrich musical education in Peru. We are proud to be part of these remarkable projects through our guitars. We extend our congratulations and heartfelt thanks to Maestro Javier Echecopar for his preference.
